Consultation:

General consultation and advice to clients discussing the client's individual needs and requirements to establish a project brief and agree terms.

Site surveying:

Architectural surveying to gain information & establish how features on site may affect the proposal (if any). Such as, site levels, boundaries, existing services and buildings/ structures to remain.

Feasibility studies:

Initial investigation to demonstrate the proposed concept is viable and identifying potential shortfalls (if any) to assist in deciding how to proceed.

Initial concept development:

Exploring various viable approaches to achieving the client's requirements and agreeing upon a preferred scheme to develop further.

Architectural design and planning:

Further development of the agreed scheme providing detailed information of the proposal. A presentation package to showcase the proposed scheme for planning and promotional purposes, which can include 3D visualisations and CGI images to give a stunning representation of the project.

Gaining statutory approvals:

Preparation and handling of applications to gain Planning approval (if required for the proposed scheme)and Building Regulations approval as required by law. Blue Lava will submit the application acting as an agent on behalf of the client if required.

Working drawings and build specification:

Producing dimensioned plans and construction drawings along with a specification for use on site enabling the contractor(s) to build the approved scheme.

Client & contractor liaison:

Aiding clients with build contract arrangements and providing ongoing communication with periodic site visits to monitor progress throughout the project. Working with the client and any contractor(s) or other service providers to ensure the build progresses smoothly and meets the client's expectations.
